The Retreat - The Golden Hour
Join me this autumn for an unforgettable journey of revival and self-discovery set against the backdrop of Puglia's stunning seaside. Embrace the enchanting golden light of autumn as we come together to nourish our bodies, minds, and spirits through the practice of yoga and incredible traditional food.
The reason this retreat is so special to me is that my wonderful grandmother, from my father's side, was born and raised in Puglia. She is one of the most important people and role model in my life, and the bond she shares with this land runs through my veins too. There is something so unique about this corner of Italy, where the sun, the sea and the food bring people together in the simplest of ways.
Why "The Golden Hour"? Are you familiar with that feeling you get just after sunrise or before sunset - it's usually a brief moment - when everything feels so aligned and at peace? It's one of the most special times in the day, which I would love for you to experience for a whole week. Where we allow ourselves to align with the rhythms of nature and reconnect with our true selves.

Hi, I am Marta
Your retreat host
I have been a yoga student since 2009 and have started teaching yoga in London in 2019. My journey into the practice has been quite a complicated one. I initially didn't understand what yoga was all about, until I hit rock bottom in my self-worth and relationship with my body.
I then started practicing Iyengar Yoga which gave me the opportunity to reconnect with myself and find more peace in my life. From there, I explored many styles of yoga asana and meditations, and have specialised in Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative and Meditation.
Since I started teaching, my aim has always been to offer inclusive and accessible practices for every body type and ability.
My retreats are a bit less traditional, in the sense that there are no restrictions (yes, you can have wine and use your phone to capture and share the beautiful moments we spend together!) and the whole purpose behind them is connection. To one self and with others.

This will be the fifth retreat I will be hosting and I cannot wait to welcome you!
